The Migrant Wing of Bhartiya Samaj has been actively involved with the smooth settlement of the migrants since its inception. It assists the new settlers in finding suitable accommodation soon after their arrival. It conducts workshops and seminars for migrants in cooperation with various government and nongovernment agencies. It makes them aware about the job market, helps them prepare CVs and provides them documents containing useful information regarding legal issues, rights and duties of persons living in New Zealand and explains “dos and don’ts” to enable them to receive fair and equitable treatment from government and nongovernment agencies.
